Kellie + Evan | State College Wedding

When Kellie & Evan first approached us about their wedding film and told us they were getting married on their family farm in State College and were restoring their old barn to hold the reception in we were all in! We get to see a lot of fantastic wedding venues but some of our favorites are the private residences that have so much connection and meaning with the couple getting married. There were so many personal touches to this day, from the barn, to the bridge that Evan built for Kellie as a wedding gift, allowing everyone an easy path to cross the creek into the meadow for their wedding ceremony, to the cannon used to celebrate 'the kiss' during their ceremony! It didn't matter that it happened to be one of the hottest days of the year, everyone had a great time celebrating! Kellie and Evan, it was such an honor! Thank you for allowing us to be there for your big day!

Courtney + José | Toftrees Resort | State College Wedding Film

'2,317 days of being separated, by 2,580 miles. Or more simply, nearly 6 1/2 years of being away from the man who has always had my heart.' When Courtney & José first told us their story, we were blown away. These two have spent so much time apart during their relationship and yet they never stopped loving and believing that this day would come. Watch these two together and it won't take you long at all to see how important they are to each other.

'This day would be a monumental day for any couple, but for you and I it marks an end to the tearful airport goodbyes when I would beg you to miss my flight, and the months of being apart. It's finally the first day of our forever.'

It was our first time at Toftrees Resort for a wedding and our first time working with the talented Jana Scott Photography. You can find her blog preview of their wedding here.

We hope you enjoy their wedding story as much as we did!
