When Stacy & Servaaas were planning their wedding day at Wyndridge Farm for the beginning of April, they surely didnt imagine it would still feel like winter. In the days before their wedding, most of the weather forecasters were predicting 5"-8" of snow to fall on their wedding day. While the predictions of snow were completely mistaken, the air was too cold for an outdoor ceremony. The staff at Wyndridge did an amazing job at adapting and changing it up to accomodate the changes, and Stacy & Servaas' family and friends had an amazing day celebrating with these two!
"May you never take each other's love for granted, but always experience that wonder that exclaims 'Out of all this world has to offer, you have chosen me.' When life is done, may you be found then, as now, looking into each other's eyes, still thanking God for each other." We've been waiting a long time for this wedding day. We have loved getting to know these two ever since they booked with us. She is a Labor & Delivery nurse. He works in his family's construction business. Together, they are an amazing couple.
When Dane was ready to ask Ashley to be his bride, he went above and beyond, with a day full of surprises including friends from out of town, a limo, shopping, salon, and a dinner celebration with family and friends. That night it ended with her dad walking her up some steps where Dane was waiting for her ready to ask the most important question he'd ever asked. Of course, she said yes. And here we are.

We had been looking forward to this wedding since Christy approached us about their wedding film. When the day came, it was one of the few we've had this year with NICE weather! Watching these two celebrating with their friends and family was so much fun. Penny's Ice Cream truck being at the Reception was definitely not a bad thing either;) One of our favorite aspects of this one was working with these obviously close knit families. Christy's father gave a wonderful Father of the Bride speech that perfectly expressed the emotion of giving her away on the biggest day of her life.
Congratulations Christy and Carson!
Amy & Jamie were blessed with a beautiful September wedding day! We loved watching these two interact and the love between them was so obvious, from their letters to each other to the looks we caught between them and the way they interacted with each other all day. After their outdoor ceremony beside the river at Riverdale Manor their family and friends enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio before heading inside for their reception dinner. One thing for sure is that Amy & Jamie's friends love a good dance party and they celebrated long into the night with the beautiful bride and groom, before heading outside for a Sparkler exit to cap a wonderful day of love and celebration!
'this gift.....it hasn't begun with you, it's begun by God's providence, and His fatherly care.' Brittany & Eric are one of those couples who, when they are together, are just so full of love and happiness that you can see it on the outside.
We were excited when they booked with a us a year and a half ago and since then, as we got to know them, decided they're the kind of people you just easily become friends with! On their wedding day they were no different. In a room packed with family and friends, these two celebrated a day and a night to be remembered!
It's been several weeks since we've posted a new blog, we've been busy with mostly off season business stuff and getting ready for our second child to arrive in a month or so! Meanwhile we wanted to post a little personal project we had fun with while our family was at the Bay House in MD for our family Christmas. We got out the new iPhone 6 Plus and wanted to have some fun with it and see what it's video capabilities really were. To sum it up we were really impressed! It obviously has it's limits, but it was fun using such a simple tool with surprisingly impressive results! It was a frigidly cold weekend, but as you'll see, that didn't keep us from our yearly tradition of jumping in the cold bay water. And in all of the slow motion quality activities shown, only one family member was taken to the emergency room!:) Boats, canoes, lots of games, a fireplace, and watching all the nieces and nephews having a blast was so much fun! Everything that isn't aerial or time-lapse, was filmed using only the iPhone 6 Plus.
